On the occasion of the launching of the new scientific journal European Perspectives the Centre for European Perspective organizes its presentation to be held on Wednesday, 2nd December at 12.15 at the Castle of Jable, Loka pri Mengšu. Guest speaker will be the author of the introductory paper, former Austrian Vice Chancellor and Coordinator for South East Europe dr. Erhard Busek.

The journal will be presented by dr. Milan Jazbec, Editor and Andreja Dolničar Jeraj, Programme director of CEP. The central topic of the first issue is "The Western Balkans: 20 Years After the End of the Cold War".

European Perspectives is a new scientific journal which aims at reflecting the European integration ambition in its broader sense, with a special reference to the South Eastern Europe. By doing so, it seeks to contribute to further expansion of the academic and practitioners’ network and dialogue as well as the exchange of views among the scientific community within the region and elsewhere. The review would like both to enhance the political and academic interaction and to present an additional tool in the decision-making process for the political elites.

The Journal will be published twice a year in English.
