Centre for European Perspective (CEP) is organizing four day 'Train-the-Trainer' workshop held in Centre for European Perspective (CEP) headquarters, Jable castle, Slovenia, from 2 to 5 November 2011. The main objective of the workshop is to provide trainees with necessary skills and knowledge to prepare and deliver Civilian Crisis Management (CCM) trainings (both academic and practical part of training activities).
The workshop activities tackle following competences:
1. Presentation skills (4-mat system, PRLL Strategy, Group Anchoring, Surface Structure and Deep Structure of Presentation)
2. Skills for designing training taxonomies and setting learning objectives (Learning objectives and processes, Planning of Training, Manual Preparation, Delivery Preparation and Evaluation, E-learning)
3. Group dynamics skills (Flow, Moderating skills, Coaching Skills, Interactive training Methods, Didactic Exercises and Games, Handling Questions and Comments)
4. Trainers' personal skills (Congruency of Trainer, Possibility Thinking, (Self) Reflection, Experiential Learning)
The target group is made up of 19 experts and trainers that are or will be involved in CEP trainings as trainers as well as of trainers from CEP partners' institutions from abroad. The workshop is conducted in small groups and requires full and active participation of all trainees/trainers. The whole workshop is based on an integrated approach and puts emphasis on practical training methods such as role-plays, case studies and simulations.
During the whole workshop best practices of CEP trainers and CEP partner's institutions trainers are identified and discussed.
