A three and a half day training for local staff members, working in international organisations in Kosovo, has started today in Pristina. The course is organised by the Centre for European Perspective (CEP), together with the Scuola Superiore Sant’ Anna (SSSUP) from Italy in the ENTRi framework.
This is a pilot training and will focus on skills that are required for the successful performance of work tasks within an international organisation, such as an understanding of all aspects of crisis management, negotiation and mediation skills, communication skills, cultural and gender sensitivity, human rights as well as project management and stress management.
The aim of the training course is to equip different categories of local staff with the needed general theoretical framework, but mostly with the practical tools needed to be active and successful mission members.
The training also aims at fostering a common level of knowledge among the mission members, which in turn facilitates the integration and coherence of the missions and contributes to the creation of a common working culture, a sense of common identity and purpose. 25 participants of the training are representatives of EULEX, OSCE, UNMIK and KFOR in Kosovo.
Usposabljanje za lokalne uslužbence v mednarodnih organizacijah na Kosovu
Danes se je v Prištini pričelo tri in pol dnevno usposabljanje za lokalne uslužbence, ki delajo v mednarodnih organizacijah, na Kosovu. Izobraževanje organizira Center za evropsko prihodnost (CEP) skupaj s Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (SSSUP) iz Italije v okviru ENTRi konzorcija.
Usposabljanje se osredotoča na veščine, ki so potrebne za uspešno opravljanje delovnih nalog v okviru mednarodne organizacije, kot so razumevanje vseh vidikov kriznega upravljanja, pogajanja in posredovanja znanj in spretnosti, komunikacijske veščine, kulturne občutljivosti, človekove pravice, kot tudi vodenje projektov ter obvladovanje stresa.
Cilj usposabljanja je, da se različne kategorije lokalnih uslužbencev opremi s potrebnim splošnim teoretskim okvirom in predvsem s praktičnimi orodji, ki so potrebna, da so lahko lokalni uslužbenci aktivni in uspešni. Usposabljanje je prav tako namenjeno spodbujanju dvigu znanja na enak nivo med člani misije, kar olajšuje vključevanje in usklajenost misij in prispeva k oblikovanju skupne delovne kulture ter občutka skupne identitete. 25 udeležencev, ki sodelujejo na usposabljanju, prihaja iz misij EULEX, OVSE, UNMIK in KFOR na Kosovu.
