In the framework of the international development cooperation project of the Republic of Slovenia with the Republic of Serbia a conference »Support to the development of the voluntary rescue services in Serbia« will be taking place on 2 of October 2015 in Training Centre for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief of the
Republic of Slovenia which Centre for European Perspective organises together with the Administration of the Republic of Slovenia for Civil Protection and Disaster Relief, Fire Association of Slovenia and Ministry of the Interior of Republic of Serbia.

In addition to Slovene experts and guest from Serbia, we are also expecting participants from Quadrilateral countries (Austria, Switzerland) and Germany. The purpose of the conference is to exchange the experiences and determine solutions directed at increasing effectiveness of the system and its response to natural disasters and mayor fires, including the role of voluntary rescue services in it. The importance of this subject was clearly shown in the circumstance during catastrophic floods in Serbia in May 2014.

Konferenca za podporu razvoju ukrepanja v izrednih razmerah v Srbiji in vlogi prostovoljnih reševalnih organizacij

V okviru projekta mednarodnega razvojnega sodelovanja Republike Slovenije z Republiko Srbijo bo 2. oktobra 2015 v Izobraževalnem centra zaščite in reševanja na Igu potekala konferenca »Podpora razvoju prostovoljnih reševalnih organizacij v Srbiji«, ki jo Center za evropsko prihodnost organizira v sodelovanju z Upravo Republike Slovenije za zaščito in reševanje, Gasilsko zvezo Slovenije in Ministrstvom za notranje zadeve Republike Srbije. Poleg slovenskih strokovnjakov in gostov iz Srbije se bodo konference udeležili tudi predstavniki držav kvadrilaterale (Austrija, Švica) in Nemčije.

Namen konference je izmenjava izkušenj in rešitev, usmerjenih v povečevanje učinkovitosti sistema zaščite in reševanja in njegovega odziva ob naravnih nesrečah in večjih požarih ter vloge prostovoljnih reševalnih organizacij pri tem. Na pomembnost področja so pokazale razmere ob katastrofalnih poplavah maja 2014 v Srbiji.
