medkulturni_dialog_aBetween 16 and 17 March, the Centre for European Perspective will host a meeting of the Task Force on Intercultural Dialogue. The representatives will discuss the future activities of the Task Force, the proposal of the study programme of the intercultural dialogue for universities and considered the role of the media, education and art in promoting the intercultural dialogue in the Western Balkans.

The meeting will be attended by Raisu-l-Ulama of the Islamic community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr Mustafa Cerić, the Chairman of Muslim Council for Religious and Racial Harmony in UK (MCRRH), Imam Dr Abduljalil Sajid, Junior Researcher at the Institute of Social Sciences Ivo Pilar Zagreb, Ms Marija Šerić and the professor at the Faculty of Theology (University of Ljubljana) Dr Bojan Žalec, who is also the Task Force coordinator. The president of the Euro-Mediterranean University Dr Joseph Mifsud as well as the president of the CEP Executive Board Dr Dimitrij Rupel and member of the CEP Executive Board Dr Andrej Rahten will also took part at the meeting.

Journalists from the Western Balkan countries and the representatives of the Gallup Institute from Brussels will participate in the discussion on the role of the media in promoting the intercultural dialogue in the Western Balkans.

Task Force on Intercultural Dialogue was established in 2007 in the framework of the Centre for European Perspective and its work is focused on various aspects of the intercultural dialogue in the Western Balkans.
