nasitekCentre for European Perspective in cooperation with Customs Administration of the Republic of Slovenia, Ministry of Public Services of the Republic of Kosovo and Customs Administration of the Republic of Kosovo is organizing the 10th training of the project Efficient and Effective Kosovo Public Services. The training entitled Risk analysis for quicker import customs clearance and better detection results will take place from 18 to 22 July 2011 at the Centre for European Perspective and International Boarder Crossing Obrežje.

The trainees – high-level Kosovo customs officers - will get an overview of Slovenian national risk analysis system and IT systems for exchange of information that are used by the Customs Administration of the Republic of Slovenia. Risk Management EU standards, monitoring (performance of control, feedbacks, evaluation of control) as well as recognition of AEO in the supply chain for customs control will also be presented by Slovene customs experts.

Their counterparts from Kosovo will present current state of procedures for risk assessment and import procedures in the Republic of Kosovo and IT support for electronic handling of customs declarations. Together they will discuss and prepare concrete proposals and recommendations for improvements of procedures for risk assessment and import procedures that will speed up import customs clearance and bring better detection results. Theoretical knowledge will be practiced through concrete examples of risk assessment as well as through one day visit to the International Boarder Crossing Obrežje.
