A Steering Board meeting was held in Zagreb on 29 and 30 January of the ESDP Training Programme for SAP countries. Beside Slovenia, several other countries are participating in the programme, namely Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia. This year Slovenia is acting as a central point of contact and is represented by the Centre for European Perspective (CEP) in the programme. The meeting was attended by CEP Programme Director, Andreja Dolničar Jeraj and CEP Project Manager, Ivana Boštjančič Pulko.

The overall structure of the cycle will this year consist of three modules again. It was agreed that twinning partners this year will be Austria and Serbia, BiH and Slovenia as well as Germany and Hungary, which organize the the last module, field trip to Brussels. First module will be organized in Belgrade in March 2009, the second one in Sarajevo in May 2009 and the last one in June.

As the programme is ending this year after three years, the representatives discussed the possible ways of continuing the training. They also agreed to establish an alumni network of all the trainings' participants.

The last Steering Board Meeting is scheduled to take place in September in Vienna.
