Centre for European Perspective has developed a pilot project called "Process governance and process management of public service broadcasting in the digital era" that was initially performed for RTV/Radio Montenegro Podgorica from 26. - 28. 10. 2011.
Massive changes in Eastern European media systems began in the 1980s following the introduction of commercial television stations and later radio stations. The changes radically shook public service broadcasting (PSB) and pushed it into a serious crisis, as it took the European Commission a whole decade to respond adequately to the new circumstances.
Project "Process governance and process management of public service broadcasting in the digital era" was carried out as a seminar by Slovenian experts in PBS management: Dr Tomaž Kern, Dr Matjaž Roblek, Dr Marko Prpič and Mr Aleks Štakul. Experts focused on: the strategy and preparation of business and programming plans within PBS, the governance and management of PSB processes and contemporary organisational structures, setting from strategy to the broadcast (planning, re-design, practical examples), modelling and reengineering of programming and production processes within PSB.
