Director of the Centre for European Perspective (CEP) dr Gorazd Justinek and CEP Programme Director   Andreja Dolničar Jeraj hosted Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to the Republic of Slovenia Nexhmi Rexhepi at Jable Castle today.

 

 

Ambassador Rexhepi and CEP hosts talked about the analysis of CEP’s project on visa liberalization that was in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior/Police of the Republic of Slovenia and the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Kosovo conducted in November 2013. They discussed preparation activities for the continuation of the project in 2014 as well. They also touched the year 2015 when the focus of the international development co-operation of the Republic of Slovenia will be moved to the regional level.

 

Study visit in November 2013 was attended by 15 representatives of various Kosovo authorities, namely the Ministry of the Interior, Border Police, Veterinary Agency, Kosovo Customs and the National Centre for Border Management. This is a project of official development co-operation, for which the initiative was addressed by Kosovo Ministry of European Integration directly at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia. It was the first project in a row of activities planned for Kosovo in the area of visa liberalization in the future.
