Yesterday, the Centre for European Perspective organised a roundtable debate titled "The Future of EU – Russia Relations".
The roundtable that hosted prominent guests such as Prof. Dr. Siddharth Saxena from University of Cambridge, Ambassador Christopher Yvon, Charge d'Affaires a.i. from the British Embassy, Dr. Matej Avbelj, dean of the Graduate School of Government and European Studies and Mr. Peter Grk, Foreign Relations adviser to the Prime Minister was well attended with 36 guests, 6 of which were foreign ambassadors. The lively debate that was moderated by Ms. Katja Geršak was concluded with the understanding that the Ukrainian crisis will have a long lasting effect on EU – Russia relations but will inherently be shaped in the interests of economic cooperation.
