Ms. Dobovišek (CEF), Mr. Podobnik (ICPE) Mr. Bergant (ITF), Mr. Jež (CMSR) and Mr. Justinek (CEP) discussed with representatives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia the ongoing activities at their institutions and potential cooperation at future projects.
The discussants agreed that in the time of fiscal consolidation in many donor countries and consecutively less founds, more needs to be done on attracting and gaining different projects where cooperation and partnership is essential. Also more needs to be done in the field of promotion of development cooperation among general public. Development cooperation has a huge impact on people's lives and it should be presented more in depth.
The meeting was assessed as fruitfully and needed, thus a follow-up will be organised in the spring time of 2015.
