The initiative that started as CEP’s program activity in the framework of the official development cooperation of the Republic of Slovenia in 2014, has grown into a region-wide project that supports the young entrepreneurs and youngsters with a promising entrepreneurial idea on their way to the development of the idea and launch of their own start-up company.

CEP kindly invites you to a round table discussion "Perspectives for the Western Balkans in the European Union", organised by CEP in cooperation with the leading EU think tanks.

On the eve of the 60th anniversary of the EU, we at the Centre for European Perspective feel called upon to say a few words in this regard. Also, we at our institution celebrated an anniversary last year. It was 10 years since our establishment. However, in the year of 2006, when we were established, we were living in a different EU, as it is today in the year of 2017.

CEP and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia signed a two-year contract in the framework of Slovenia's development cooperation for seven new projects that account for 430.400 EUR. Up until today, CEP successfully conducted over 100 development projects in the Western Balkans region.

On Wednesday, March 22, CEP organized a workshop for young entrepreneurs from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The event was organized in the entrepreneurial center Networks Sarajevo in order to promote our project that enables 20 youngsters to attend PODIM Conference. It is the leading regional start-up conference, where 800 people of various backgrounds convene – big corporations, start-ups, investors and others.

For the third year in a row, Centre for European Perspective offers its support to the young entrepreneurs from Bosnia and Herzegovina and youngsters with entrepreneurial ideas, who want to develop and launch their projects. In order to do so, we organize a call for applications in cooperation with the leading regional start up conference PODIM, that takes place every May in Maribor, Slovenia.

In the framework of the project “Assistance to Montenegro in negotiations on accession to the EU-2017” CEP provides technical assistance to Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism. Two-day advisory workshop (16 – 17 March 2017) in Podgorica is carried out by Slovenian expert Radovan Tavzes.

EUFOR Althea je vojna operacija, uspostavljena u okviru Zajedničke vanjske i sigurnosne politike (ZVSP – Common Security and Defence Policy) i predstavlja najdužu vojnu operaciju pod ZVSP, te predstavlja integralni pristup Evropske unije (EU) prema Zapadnom Balkanu. Rat u Bosni i Hercegovini (BiH) je ostavio više od sto hiljada žrtava, dok je iz svojih domova prognano više od dva miliona ljudi. Rat je završen nakon više od tri godine posredovanjem međunarodne zajednice pod okriljem NATO-a. NATO je u zemlji ostao još devet godina u obliku dvije uzastopne misije, ovlašten od strane Ujedinjenih nacija, kako bi se osiguralo sprovođenje mirovnog sporazuma, demilitarizacije, razoružanja oružanih snaga i civilnog stanovništva, te povratak raseljenih lica u svoje prijeratne domove.

Centre for European Perspective and Service for Strategic Studies and Analyses of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a workshop on the future of the EU and migrations for postgraduate students and lecturers from the Doshisha University from Kyoto, Japan.

Center za evropsko prihodnost bo v okviru projekta Pomoč Črni gori pri pogajanjih o pristopu k EU 2017 izvedel prvo letošnje usposabljanje. Dvodnevno usposabljanje bo v obliki svetovanja potekalo pod vodstvom slovenskega strokovnjaka Radovana Tavzesa 16. in 17. marca 2017 v Podgorici.
