First training for Kosovo in the field of visa liberalisation process completed

Naslovna Viza liberalizacijaCentre for European Perspective (CEP), in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior/Police of the Republic of Slovenia completed the first study visit between 4 and 7 November for 15 Kosovo public officials. Study visit was attended by representatives of various Kosovo authorities, namely the Ministry of the Interior, Border Police, Veterinary Agency, Kosovo Customs and the National Centre for Border Management.

New project for Kosovo civil servants in the field of visa liberalization

DSCN0598Centre for European Perspective (CEP), in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior/Police of the Republic of Slovenia and the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Kosovo, hosts a study visit between 4 and 7 November for 15 Kosovo public officials. Study visit is attended by 15 representatives of various Kosovo authorities, namely the Ministry of the Interior, Border Police, Veterinary Agency, Kosovo Customs and the National Centre for Border Management. This is a project of official development co-operation, for which the initiative was addressed by Kosovo Ministry of European Integration directly at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia. It is the first project in a row of activities planned for Kosovo in the area of visa liberalization in the future.

 

Study Visit of Traffic Police of Serbia

NaslovnaSrbija PPIn the past week (21 - 25 October 2013), the Centre for European Perspective (CEP) along with the Police of the Republic of Slovenia within the framework of international development cooperation in Slovenia conducted a study visit of chiefs in traffic police of the Republic of Serbia.

On the first day, immediately after entering Slovenia, representatives of the Serbian traffic police familiarized themselves with the Border Police Station and Police Directorate Novo Mesto. Main work was related to the recurrence of utility models of leadership and management skills useful for the traffic police with the assistance of expert Dr Tatjana Dragovič which we have been learning about already with the same groups of participants in Serbia in 2011. We checked achievement of goals they have set in 2011 and set goals, what they want in their leadership and management improved through the study visit to Slovenia and what they will focus in analyzing leadership and management of the Slovenian police.
