The second module of CEP's training 'Strengthening the Capacity of Albanian Representatives on IPA Funds Management' will start on Monday, 7 October in Korca, Albania. The participants will be acquainted with an in-depth knowledge of IPA fund management with special emphasis on good preparation, high-quality implementation and good financial reporting principles. During the four day training a concrete project proposal that was approved and financed in the framework of IPA funding will be presented to trainees.



Centre for European Perspective (CEP) will conduct a training for management of investment projects financed with EU funds in cooperation with Stading Conference of Towns and Municipalitie for representatives of Serbian municipalities between 23 and 27 September 2013 in Vrnjačka Banja (Serbia) in the framework of the project "Support to Serbian municipalities for participation in international (EU) projects". With the support of the Slovenian Business Club and the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Serbia a reception will be organized on Monday, 23 September for mayors of participating municipalities, representatives of Slovenian companies in Serbia and other members of the Slovenian Business Club. Guests will be addressed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in Belgrade Franc But and high-level representatives of Serbian government. This is Slovenian official development cooperation project initiated by the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Slovenia.
The four days pre-deployment training course Kosovo is starting today at Jable Castle. The training will equip 22 participants from 14 countries with the essential knowledge and information necessary to be active mission and team members and to operate smoothly in the respective area of assignment in Kosovo.
Today, leaders from the private and public sector gathered again at Bled to attend the 8th Bled Strategic Forum and address some crucial issues of today's Europe and the world. Under the title "A Changing Europe in a Changing World" the participants addressed the future geostrategic positioning of Europe in the modern world, the water challenge in the MENA region, the possibilities for boosting economic growth from the perspective of high technology development as well as efficient international criminal justice system, the future of economic and monetary union, and some burning EU enlargement related topics.
