President of the Management Board Mr Marcel Koprol and CEP Executive Director Dr Gorazd Justinek hosted today three experts from Slovakia at Jable castle. They presented work of their institute and in January 2014 issued report titled »Central Europe: fit for the future«, in which position of Central European countries in European Union after their 10th anniversary of EU membership is assessed.
The training is organised in the framework of the Europe's New Initiative for Civilian Crisis Management (ENTRi). Its main focus lies with the topics of planning, setting up and supporting a civilian crisis management mission. It is attended by 26 participants from different EU as well as OSCE and other missions and brings together middle and senior management staff, also with the aim of exchanging ideas and best practices in order to achieve a rapid deployment of administration and logistics support resources. 15 trainers, taking part in the course, are representatives of Civilian Planning and Conduct Capability (CPCC), responsible for mission planning and administration support as well as mission personnel working in the fields of human resources, logistics and finance.
Centre for European Perspective is organising a Mission Management, Administration and Support (MAS) Course between 22 and 25 April in Hotel des Colonies, Brussels.
