In the framework of CEP's project a Slovenian expert on food safety Primož Florjanc continues his advisory work in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He will conduct additional training for Bosnian veterinarians between 20 and 23 December 2013.
In the framework of CEP's project a Slovenian expert on food safety Primož Florjanc began a two-day visit to the Veterinary Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The main aim of his visit is the preparation of the office for the visit by the EU veterinary auditors. The office in Sarajevo expects veterinary auditors from the EU Food and Veterinary Office Dublin, Ireland shortly. European veterinary auditors will audit the system of official controls and guarantees in the production of milk and milk products intended for export to the EU.
In the framework of the CEP's project "Assistance in development of EU standards in the food safety and quality in BiH - development of phytosanitary control« four Slovenian experts conduct two days workshops for phytosanitary and forestry inspectors in BiH. The main aim of the workshops is to train the participants to prepare and implement special inspections for detection of harmful organism in the forestry and potato production.
Montenegro has to modify and adopt a waste management law in response to bilateral screening of its national environmental legislation (Chapter 27) that was concluded in March 2013. There are still some open issues in the national legislation that has to be solved before the national environmental legislation will be harmonized with the EU legislation.
