Centre for European Perspective and Folke Bernadotte Academy are within the framework of Europe’s New Training Initiative for Civilian Crisis Management (ENTRi) organizing a Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) at the Police Training Centre Gotenica between 19 and 23 October. Training is organized in close cooperation with Slovenian Police and Slovenian Armed Forces.



Dr Gorazd Justinek, Executive Director of the Centre for European Perspective with his lecture informed students and other visitors about the European Year for Development 2015. He also talked about the role of foreign policy and the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in international development aid. Furthermore, he also addressed international development aid provided by Slovenia to the beneficiary countries and presented activities of the Centre for European Perspective in the context of international development cooperation.
Within the framework of the International Development Cooperation of the Republic of Slovenia the Centre for European Perspective (CEP) carried out a workshop on strengthening the independence of election bodies. Strengthening of democratic institutions is for Albania as a candidate for EU membership of utmost importance. This includes also the electoral system, which is one of the cornerstones of a democratic rule of law.
