Mission Management, Administration and Support Course starting on Monday in Brussels

ENTRI logoCentre for European Perspective is organising a Mission Management, Administration and Support (MAS) Course between 6 and 10 July in Brussels.

Large international organisations have experienced their share of problems in attempting to plan, set up and support civilian crisis management field operations and, particularly, to achieve a rapid deployment of administration and logistics support resources. A sustainable management of a field mission is key to improving the motivation and efficiency of all staff.

The overall objective of the four-day Mission Administration & Support course is to provide its participants with in-depth knowledge of administrative and support procedures and structures of civilian crisis management operations. Training is organised by the Centre for European Perspective in cooperation with the Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA) from Sweden, Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Slovenia, Slovenian Police and Slovenian Armed Forces.

Taking into account the different categories of staff involved in missions, the course will involve not only technical and administrative experts but also middle and senior management staff from EULEX Kosovo, EUMM Georgia, EUAM Ukraine, EUPOL Afghanistan and representatives of Brussels support.
