Slovene Customs Experts on Dual-Use Goods share their experiences with colleagues from Kosovo

kosovo9The two day training on Export Control of Dual-Use Goods started today in Pristina. 21 Kosovo Customs officers from different units of Kosovo Customs Administration are attending the training conducted by Slovene experts on Dual-Use Goods. "Slovenian experiences are very valuable for us, specially as efficient Customs is an important pillar of the Public Administration," stressed Minister of Public Administration of the Republic of Kosovo Edita Tahiri.

The First Generation of Slovene Civil Servants Successfully Concludes the Core Course for EU Civilian Crisis Management Missions

The first generation of Slovene civil servants successfully concluded the core course for EU Civilian Crisis Management Missions. Ambassador Mitja Štrukelj, Coordinator for Western Balkans at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia awarded trainees with the C3MC certificates signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Samuel Žbogar, Minister of Interior Katarina Kresal and Minister of Defence Ljubica Jelušič. The course finally placed Slovenia on the map of the EU civilian crisis management trainings.

Minister Kresal visits CEP's Core Course in Gotenica

The first training for civil servants for EU Civilian Crisis Management Missions started at CEP

Napotitve_otvoritevToday the first training for civil servants for EU Civilian Crisis Management Missions organized in Slovenia started at CEP. An intensive 14-day training will equip participants with a comprehensive knowledge and skills needed to be seconded to the civilian missions. The training will take place at CEP and Police Training Centre in Gotenica between 8 and 21 November 2010.

Slovene Experts Successfully Completed the Second Training for the Police of the Republic of Serbia

Srbija_kriminalistiToday a five-day workshop on “Creating an Ethical Work Environment” successfully finished in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia. The project was prepared by the Centre for European Perspective (CEP) in cooperation with and on request of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia, and is a part of Slovenia’s International Development Cooperation. The training was the second in line of trainings and workshops CEP organizes for Serbian police and was designed for executive police officials.
