Fair of resemblance connected the young in Bosnia and Herzegovina

sajam_slicnosti_brckoOn Wednesday, 21 April, and on Thursday, 22 April, a series of events took place in Brčko, Bosnia and Herzegovina to celebrate the Day of School of Vaso Pelagić Gymnasium and commemorate the 60th anniversary of this educational institution. The main event was the Fair of Resemblance, which was the implementation of the competition winning project from the Intercultural Challenge competition, organized by CEP.

Steering Board Meeting of European Security and Defence Policy (ESDP) Training Programme for SAP Countries (Zagreb)

A Steering Board meeting was held in Zagreb on 29 and 30 January of the ESDP Training Programme for SAP countries. Beside Slovenia, several other countries are participating in the programme, namely Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia. This year Slovenia is acting as a central point of contact and is represented by the Centre for European Perspective (CEP) in the programme. The meeting was attended by CEP Programme Director, Andreja Dolničar Jeraj and CEP Project Manager, Ivana Boštjančič Pulko.

Conclusions and recommendations of the expert seminar on facilitation of trade in the area of the Western Balkans

In December 2008 Centre for European Perspective in cooperation with Slovenian government and Turkish Kültür University organised a two-day expert seminar »Movement of Goods in the Area of the EU, EFTA, Turkey and CEFTA: Facilitation of Cooperation Potential«. Overview of the trade cooperation between the countries concerned has shown a need for further improvement and facilitation of cooperation in trade. Presented facts and analyses resulted in Conclusions and Recommendations which represent basis for the continuation of the work started.

The Government of the Republic of Slovenia has appointed new members of the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board of the Centre for European Perspective (CEP)

At its session of 19 March 2009 the Government of the Republic of Slovenia has released from position previous members of the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board of the Centre for European Perspective and appointed new ones.
