EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The successful candidate for the position must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship of a EU Member State
- University degree
- At least 10 years work experience
- Proven management capacity and organisational and communication skills
- Active knowledge of English and a second world language
- Personal computer proficiency (MS Windows)
Centre for European Perspective in cooperation with Customs Administration of the Republic of Slovenia, Ministry of Public Services of the Republic of Kosovo and Customs Administration of the Republic of Kosovo is organizing the 9th training of the project Efficient and Effective Kosovo Public Services. The training entitled Export control on Dual-Use Goods will take place on the 21 and 22 December 2010 in Pristine.
Core course, an intensive 14-day training, which will be held from 8 – 21 November 2010, is now open for EU citizens. Closing date for applications is 20 September. The trainees will gain all the required core knowledge and skills for the secondment to the EU civilian crisis management missions according to the standard curricula outline as stated in the Council document 16849/2006.
On Saturday, 4 December 2010 at 17:00, the book 'Foreign Policy: the Basics of Theory and Practice', series »Studia diplomatica Slovenica, 2010«, written by Dr. Ernest Petrič, will be presented under aegis of Slovenian Book fair in the Lili Novy hall, Cankarjev Dom, Ljubljana.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Slovenia granted a mandate to the Centre for European Perspective (CEP) to prepare and conduct Core Course for civil servants to be seconded in international civilian missions.The Core Course, based on EU standards, will be held from 8 to 21 November 2010. It will cover six thematic areas - from general knowledge of civilian crisis management and the role of various actors in civil missions to the environment in which the missions take place, work on the ground, safety at work and management of stress. For each subject specific learning objectives are defined and learning methods are specified according to them.
Centre for European Perspective continues with cooperation with Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia and Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Slovenia in the project titled »Creating an Ethical Work Environment«. This is the second training for the Police of the Republic of Serbia, however, this time it is intended for the key commanding personnel from the Serbian Criminal Police. Training will be held in Vrnjačka Banja in Serbia, from 24th to 29th October 2010.

The Centre for European Perspective in cooperation with the Customs Administration of the Republic of Macedonia is organizing the 3rd module of the project "The EU Negotiations: Techniques, Skills and Content". The module is a continuation of the earlier training delivered in May 2010 and will take place from 11 – 16 October 2010 in Ohrid, Macedonia.
