Centre for European Perspective (CEP) is organising fifth activity in a series of trainings for the Police of the Republic of Serbia that began in 2009. The yearlong project is prepared by CEP in extensive cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior (MoI) of the Republic of Slovenia and strong support by the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Serbia, which has requested the training in the framework of Slovenia's International Development Cooperation. CEP has already conducted trainings for Serbia's border, criminal and traffic police and organises its first study visit in Slovenia in that package of support to the Serbian MoI. 19 representatives, mostly commanding police officers as well as representatives of the management will visit border crossings Obrežje and Dragonja with the aim of exchanging good practices with Slovenian colleagues in the field of positive work environment that stimulates effective and quality work.



Centre for European Perspective in cooperation with Customs Administration of the Republic of Slovenia, Ministry of Public Services of the Republic of Kosovo and Customs Administration of the Republic of Kosovo is organizing the 10th training of the project Efficient and Effective Kosovo Public Services. The training entitled Risk analysis for quicker import customs clearance and better detection results will take place from 18 to 22 July 2011 at the Centre for European Perspective and International Boarder Crossing Obrežje.
The sixth Bled Strategic Forum 2011 is approaching rapidly. Forum, that is organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and the Centre for European Perspective will take place on 9 and 10 September 2011 at Bled. For the sixth consecutive year, the gathering of statesmen, politicians, business people and various experts who deal with the future strategic challenges will address power shifts in the international arena, including relations between states and economic relations, with an emphasis on the emerging economies.
